About the FORMULA B Super Plexi
If you hadn't guessed it already, the Formula B Super Plexi is based on the Marshall JTM45 "Plexi", with an additional Boost channel thrown in for good measure, capturing the sound of many legendary players from the 1960s onwards
Super Plexi Effects Order
The Super Plexi V2 uses a rare Fairchild J201 jfet for beautifully warm, responsive tube-like tone. Like the Formula B Fuzz Rangers, there's a toggle to set whether the Boost comes before or after, giving you extra control of your sound - and more options to set your tone on fire!
Boost
The Boost channel on its own gives you plenty of gain to push your amp onto overdrive, but this pedal really comes alive when you partner it with the Plexi channel. Run the Boost before the Plexi for lovely saturation and density; run the Boost after the Plexi to increase the volume and gun your amp's power tubes.
